Editorial standards
Our guides, template tables and statistics help Tesla owners make Paint Shop wraps that work the first time. This page explains how we check that information and what we do when it is wrong.

Who writes our content
Guides are written and maintained by the Tesla Wrap Designer team, the people who build the editor, the PNG checker and the gallery. Articles are published under the team name.
Tesla Wrap Designer is independent and not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. We have no access to unpublished Tesla information.
Primary sources first
Template sizes and file rules are checked against Tesla's official custom-wraps repository and the PNG files themselves. App and software requirements come from Tesla's release notes.
When something is not confirmed, such as one minimum software version for every car and region, we say so instead of guessing.
How we use AI
AI helps us draft, translate and organize content. A person on the team reviews every published guide.
Styles and colors in the gallery and statistics are tagged automatically from each design's public notes. They describe the notes, not a manual check of every image.
Tests and numbers
We do not invent test cars, contributors or statistics. A claim tested in a car says which model and when. Reading the documentation is not presented as a test.
Every statistic states its reporting window and what was counted. Downloads are not unique people or confirmed installs.
Dates and corrections
A guide's "updated" date changes only when its content changes, not when we redeploy the site. Significant changes are listed in the changelog.
Found a mistake? Send us the page link and your source or test result. We correct confirmed errors and update the date.
Designs and rights
Paint Shop wraps change how the car looks on its screen, not its paint or vinyl. Community designs are shared by their creators; sharing a design does not grant rights to third-party characters or logos in it.
Rights holders can ask us to remove a design through the contact page.
